Retain7

Retain7 for Antigravity

Shared memory for Google Antigravity

An Antigravity agent works from the workspace in front of it. What your team decided in another tool, or what already failed on this repository, is invisible unless someone writes it into the prompt.

How it works

One memory, shared across your tools

Add a retain7 entry with serverUrl to mcp_config.json, then select Authenticate in Agent settings. Antigravity registers with the server by itself, and its agents can then search and save to the shared project memory.

Saved in Claude Code

Public endpoints return a request id in the response header.

Found in Antigravity

The next session searches before it answers, so the decision is already in its context.

An example memory, not customer data.

Setup

Add Retain7 to Antigravity

A minute or two, once. The same steps are in the docs.

  1. Add this to ~/.gemini/config/mcp_config.json, or to .agents/mcp_config.json for one project:

    {
        "mcpServers": {
            "retain7": {
                "serverUrl": "https://retain7.com/mcp"
            }
        }
    }
  2. In Agent settings, open Customizations and select Authenticate next to retain7. Paste the authorization code back and submit.

  3. So every session checks the team memory before it answers, add this line to your Antigravity rules:

    This team keeps its project memory in Retain7. Before answering how this project does something, call the retain7 memory_search tool.

Questions about Antigravity

Which file do I edit for Antigravity?

~/.gemini/config/mcp_config.json for every workspace, or .agents/mcp_config.json inside one project.

Why serverUrl and not url?

Antigravity only accepts serverUrl for remote servers. The url and httpUrl fields used by other tools are not supported there.

How do I authenticate Retain7 in Antigravity?

Open Agent settings, go to Customizations and select Authenticate next to retain7. Paste the authorization code back into the panel and submit it.

Where does Antigravity keep the sign-in?

In ~/.gemini/antigravity/mcp_oauth_tokens.json, on the machine where you signed in.
